Joe Johnson Post-Game v Orlando Magic (VIDEO)
The Brooklyn Nets won their eighth straight game at Barclays Center tonight, and the team is now 17-0 against teams under .500 – which means they are doing what they are supposed to be doing against lower ranked teams. But after tonight’s game, a 97-77 win over the Orlando Magic, the Nets have a stretch in which they face the defending champs Miami on Wednesday, the Chicago Bulls on Friday the followed by the Los Angeles Lakers early next week.
Joe Johnson, who finished with 13 points (5/10 shooting), and 5 assists, spoke to the media after the game and said that the team’s focus was now squarely on it’s next opponent.
“We feel pretty good here at home. We’re pretty confident, we understand that we have three tough games coming up,” Johnson said. “We want to take it one game at a time, prepare hard for Miami and come out with the same focus and intensity that we had tonight and we’re going to try to dictate the pace of the game.”
