The former Indiana Hoosier, Victor Oladipo made his NBA debut last night, back where he played college ball, against the Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Oladipo did not start for the Magic, but made his presence felt when he did come on. He finished with 12 points in 23 minutes of action, along with 3 rebounds and 2 assists. The Magic lost to the Pacers, 97-87.
Pior to the game Oladipo spoke on what it meant to play his first game back in Indiana.
“I like that it’s back in Indiana,” Oladipo said before the game. “A lot of people are going to be here that I know. My family
is going to be here and they can share this special moment with me.”“It’s crazy. It’s a great feeling to come out here and see all these people in red. It’s just a blessing to be here. I’ve been praying about it, asking God for it and now it’s finally come true. I’m going to enjoy it.”
