Coming into tonight’s game at Barclays Center the Brooklyn Nets had poor 10-19 record against teams above .500, when they play teams with losing records they are undefeated. Unfortunately for the Nets, come playoff time they will be facing teams with a winning record so games like tonight are crucial to the team’s confidence. Chicago were hoping to add to Brooklyn’s loss column, and keep their own winning streak in New York alive (they are 2-0 against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden this season).

The Bulls – who are still missing Derrick Rose, despite him traveling with the team – started the game without two more of their regulars. Kirk Hinrich was absent, while Carlos Boozer warmed up, but did not play due to a hamstring concern.

The feisty Bulls hung around – and even threatened to steal the game late – but in the end the Nets won, 93-89. After the game Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau gave his thoughts on the game.
