Jamal Crawford is the leading contender for the Sixth Man of the Year award so far this season. The 13-year veteran is coming off the bench for a rejuvenated Clippers team, providing instant offense when the likes of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin take a seat, but also by being a leader out on the floor.

Crawford, a former Knick, returned to Madison Square Garden last night to face his former team – and helped the Clippers stave off a Knick rally to come away with a 102-88 win. Crawford did what he’s been doing all season, finishing with 27 points.

We caught up with the affable J.Crossover prior to the game and chatted about coming back to play in New York, the Sixth Man of the Year award and more.
