Aron Baynes Post-Game v Brooklyn Nets [VIDEO]
Aron Baynes is having a career year for the San Antonio Spurs – partly due to injuries to guys like Tiago Splitter, but also because of a new-found confidence that stems from increased playing time.
Baynes’ numbers have jumped to 7.4 points per game and 4.8 rebounds, while playing a career-high 17.2 minutes each night.
When asked by starting5online what had impressed him so much about Baynes’ play this season, Spurs’ coach Gregg Popovich gave a ‘Pop-like’ answer: “He’s big.”
After a narrow 95-93 loss to the Brooklyn Nets in overtime, Baynes spoke about his current season, the Boomers being cleared of tanking at the World Cup and more.
