The Brooklyn Nets came into Madison Square Garden and exacted some revenge for their poor showing in their previous encounter at the home of the Knicks. The season series ended at two-games a piece – with the exception of the third game, all games were close and came down to the final possessions – but the intensity of this budding rivalry has left fans wanting more of the match-up.
Unfortunately, unless these teams meet up in the playoffs there will be no more regular season games in 2012-13. Could the NBA have scheduled the ‘Battle of the Boroughs’ better to include two of the games later in the season?
And what do the Brooklyn players think of the series so far? We caught up with MarShon Brooks and C.J. Watson after the game yesterday to find out.
