What's going on fellow bloggers friends and fans? Welcome to my first of many blog entries for starting5.com.au. I'm pretty excited to be writing this blog because as most of you know, I always have a lot to say! Either way, I hope you enjoy it.
This has been a crazy but exciting offseason for me, for those who've missed it, here's all that's taken place ;
For the second time I lost an opportunity to go to the NBL Grand Final, losing in the semi-final's vs the Wollongong Hawks, I recieved the 2010 MVP of the NBL, Got fired via e-mail by the Townsville Crocodiles, Went and played in the Foot Locker Elite High Stakes Hoops Classic in Adelaide, Headed back to NYC this summer and played streetball while repping Brand Jordan in the streets with the brands first outdoor Jordan shoe!
After all that I finally got some time to myself so I headed on vacation to Las Vegas. That didn't last long before I was headed to Surabaya in Indonesia where I featured in the DBL's development camp. I sought out greener pastures in Europe to finally sign in Greece for Maroussi which didn't work out because I wasn't getting paid. Packed my bags, left Greece and went home for three weeks before I recieved, and accepted, an offer from the Melbourne Tigers.
NOW HERE I AM BEING THROWN INTO THE FIRE BABY AND WOULDN'T WANT IT ANY OTHER WAY!!!
I came here because I was well aware of the situation we were in. 0-5 and still trying to make the finals. This will be the toughest situation I've faced in my NBL career. With a lot of hard work, and a lot of luck this can happen.
Today is my day off so I'm just relaxing, watching TV and listening to my beats. I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT MY MUSIC!
I love all types of music but the playlist I'm pumping at the moment has mostly R'n'B and Hip Hop, including everything from John Legend,NeYo,Usher and Jamie Foxx to Jay Z, Kanye West, Drizzy Drake, Rick Ross, B.o.B, Dead Prez, Fabolous, Lil Wayne and some Wiz Khalifa to Rihanna, Beyonce and even some Katy Perry!
My next blog I'll give you a recap of my first 5 games back in the NBL including my trip back to the Swamp to face my old team, the Townsville Crocodiles. Until then……
