Video:: Carmelo Anthony Says He Loves Playing With High I.Q. PG’s
The Knicks (barely) beat the 76ers to snap a two-game skid, but the biggest news for the team personnel wise was the return of point guard Jose Calderon.
Calderon scored just three points, and dished off three assists, in the 91-83 win, but the Knicks will hope his steadying influence will provide them with a leadership they currently lack at that position.
Carmelo Anthony, who had his two best seasons playing alongside high I.Q. point guards like Chauncey Billups and Jason Kidd, said “I love it” when asked what it means to him to have a player of Calderon’s caliber alongside him.
