Spurs’ Danny Green Out 4-Weeks
A blow for the San Antonio Spurs with news that Danny Green is set to miss the next four weeks with a broken hand.
From The San Antonio Express-News:
The hits just keep coming.
A week after losing center
Tiago Splitter with a sprained shoulder, the Spurs announced that guard Danny Green will be out a four weeks after suffering a non-displaced fracture of his second metacarpal in his left hand. Green suffered the injury in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Green, who was ruled out of tonight’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans, told the Express-News he hoped to return to action on Wednesday when the Spurs host the Utah Jazz, but needed to wait for MRI results on Monday morning.
Green is averaging 7.4 points in 37 games this season, shooting 38.4 percent from three.
