Kobe Bryant Post-Game v Brooklyn Nets (VIDEO)
It wasn’t necessarily easy work, but the Lakers escaped Barclays Center with a win last night over the Nets. After the game Kobe Bryant – who threw down a vintage Bryant slam late in the final quarter – spoke on his first trip to Brooklyn (he said it was the first time ever he’d been to the borough), his thoughts on the Lakers going forward, Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard’s injuries, and of course, that dunk.
“I think everybody’s been drinking the ‘Kobe pass’ Kool-Aid, so everybody kind of stayed on the perimeter on the shooters and it just parted like the Red Sea,” Bryant said. “So I felt a little like Moses.”
Los Angeles won the game, 92-83. Bryant finished with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
