Jordan Super.Fly 4 Wear Test at Terminal 23 (VIDEO)

On a humid Tuesday night in New York City, we were invited to Terminal 23 by Jordan Brand to be a part of the first group of people in the country to wear test the fourth iteration of the Super.Fly sneaker. The shoe, named the Super.Fly 4, does not bear his name, but it is Blake Griffin’s unofficial signature shoe. It is designed to accommodate the power and speed of versatile players like the Clippers’ forward.

Starting5online will bring you a comprehensive review of the shoe shortly, but initial response to the Super.Fly 4 has been positive. One major change from last year’s edition has been the introduction of a flexible textile upper consisting of a combination of breathable mesh, along with a protective foam. Because of this new material the shoe is the lightest Super.Fly to date – something you notice immediately.

Flight Plate tech is back – although it has been renamed Flight Speed – which maximizes responsiveness.

Check out the video below from Tuesday’s media run at Terminal 23 and tell us your thoughts on the Super.Fly 4.

The Jordan Super.Fly 4 hits retailers on August 5 with a $150 price tag.
