Jordan Brand Launch Space Jam Collection
To help commemorate the 20th anniversary of the release of the iconic movie (or is it a cartoon?) Space Jam, Jordan Brand are helping celebrate the date with an entire collection that was launched today.
Two original pairs of Air Jordans worn in the film are being released – the IX and the XI – along with the current 31 which will feature the iconic black and concord gradients that the XI made famous.
Aside from the footwear which will be sought after, a special apparel collection was also revealed by the brand. Taking its cues from the movie’s famed characters — the Tune Squad and the Monstars – the line features both iconic graphics from the original movie and modernized designs which again pays tribute to the classic black and concord Monstars villain uniforms.
