The Knicks have been trying to create cap room for months now to sign another star to play with Carmelo Anthony next summer. They can already cross the name of Rajon Rondo off the list with his move to Dallas, but another elite point guard will be available: Goran Dragic.
The Slovenian point guard becomes a free agent at the end of the season, and admitted prior to Sunday’s game against the Knicks at the Garden that all options are on the table. Later, after he had scored 10 points in 32 minutes in just his second game back from injury, Dragic elaborated on his answer about free agency, spoke about Slovenia’s draw at EuroBasket and playing in a three point-guard lineup.
