Starting5 Speak With Spurs Patty Mills (VIDEO)

The San Antonio Spurs only visit New York twice a year, and since we’d already spoken to Australian point guard Patty Mills and done a nice write-up on him in December, we felt that it was time to grab the diminutive Mills and get his thoughts on-camera.

Mills and the Spurs visited Brooklyn for the first time last night – and although Mills did not see much court-time (despite Manu Ginobili being inactive for the evening), he came on late when the Spurs already had the game in hand. Mills ended his three-minutes of playing time scoreless, but did have one assist.

We spoke with Patty just as he finished his pre-game workout to get his feelings on the new arena in Brooklyn, playing with another Aussie in Aron Baynes ….. and just general ‘Aussie’ talk, mate.
