Utah Jazz G Dante Exum Talks Life In The NBA
Australian Dante Exum was the 2014 NBA draft’s enigma. The 6’6 guard was projected to be an above-average NBA player, but he had not played against elite American competition other than a showcase game in Portland, Oregon, leaving many to wonder: How good is he really?
So far through the early part of the season, Exum has shown flashes of what he’s capable of, but the rookie is still quite raw. Given time he’s shown enough to reassure concerned fans that he’ll be okay in the big leagues.
Starting5online caught up with Exum at Jazz’ shootaround on Friday morning to talk about his adaptation to the American game, how coach Quin Snyder’s system is making his transition smoother, the Boomers’ World Cup campaign and more.
