Carmelo Anthony Post-Game v Detroit (VIDEO)

It was just another day at the office for the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden tonight, except for the fact that Carmelo Anthony was celebrating a Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl win from the night before. Anthony ended up finishing the easy 99-85 win with 27 points (10/17 field goal shooting), 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

It was after the game where Anthony really had his fun though. Tyson Chandler, a California native,and San Francisco 49ers fan, lost a bet with Anthony who was raised in West Baltimore, and had to wear the cap of the newly crowned NFL champions during his post-game media scrum. Anthony even came out of the shower to laugh at his teammate. When it was his turn to be questioned, Anthony mentioned how much of a laugh he got at Chandler’s expense.

“That made my day. You just don’t know,” said Anthony, who stood across the locker room and watched Chandler’s interview with a smile. “It was a good day for me, it just was a coincidence that he had three games with 20 rebounds. That picture will be everywhere.”
