They tried to downplay the moment, but after giving up a 3-0 lead to a feisty Boston team, the relief was visible on the Knicks players faces after their 88-80 win over the Celtics sealed their place in the next round of the playoffs.

New York learned that it’s hard to close out an opponent – especially one as proud as this Celtic group – and even had another scare when the C’s went on a 20-0 run in the final quarter (the score was 75-49 when Boston began it’s late surge), but the Knicks held on.
